Masterclass with Dr. Ben Furman
What is
MASTERCLASS?
The Masterclass is an advanced form of training led by a renowned expert, Dr. Ben Furman – a master in his field – aimed at people who already have basic knowledge and experience. It is in-depth, practical work on the participants' real-life challenges.
Why should you sign up?
The Masterclass is:
- direct contact with Dr. Ben Furman,
- practical answers to real problems,
- working among practitioners – a common language,
- building a community of practitioners.
What are its
features?
- guidance from an authority with many years of experience,
- a focus on practice, not theory,
- analysis of real-life cases,
- the opportunity to ask questions and work on your own professional situations,
- professional nature.
Unlike a standard webinar, a masterclass: assumes active participation, is based on dialogue and reflection, and develops master-level competencies.
In the context of working with children and families, this means: deepening skills, greater precision in interventions, and increased effectiveness and confidence in your work.
The philosophy of development in the Masterclass
The Masterclass is a space where experienced practitioners learn from a master — and from each other.
It is a space for those who already know the fundamentals and want to reach a master level.
Who is the Masterclass for?
For those who:
- want to work smarter, not harder,
- believe in a child's potential,
- are looking for development at an expert level,
Masterclass agenda
An intensive, 120-minute, in-depth working format.
Each Masterclass lasts 2 hours and consists of three distinct stages:
Foundation Introduction
15 min
Foundation Representative: sets the topic within the realities of Polish schools, foster families, and institutions, highlights the most common challenges faced by practitioners, and connects the subject matter with the Kids’ Skills method and the experience of specialists.
This is a moment for context, a shared language, and current practical data.
Masterclass
30 min + 60 min
Lecture by Dr. Ben Furman (up to 30 min)
The essence of the knowledge and concrete tools:
- how to work with a given challenge in the spirit of SFBT,
- what questions to ask,
- how to avoid common pitfalls,
- how to build a change process step by step.
This is not theory – these are practical tools you can implement the very next day.
Q&A Session (60 minutes)
Participants submit questions via a questionnaire available on the Foundation's website. Dr. Furman answers the most important and frequently asked ones – without rushing, providing examples and mini-supervision of cases.
This is a space for:
- real-world work dilemmas,
- difficult situations with parents,
- doubts regarding trauma, violence, burnout,
- questions about the effectiveness and limitations of the method.
This is the part that makes the series a masterclass.
Go to the questionnaire to ask a question >>Note: Asking questions is optional – you can participate in the Masterclass without submitting a question.
Connection and community
15 min
Breakout sessions, moderated experience exchange: What was most important to me? What will I implement within 7 days? What one micro-step will I take upon returning to my world?
We are building a community of practitioners who: speak the same language, support each other professionally, and share micro-successes.

The accessibility of these initiatives to local communities is further proof that Neo Energy Group understands and takes very seriously its social role, which has the power to influence positive change. By supporting the ULICA Foundation, the company joins forces with those working for a better tomorrow, where every child—regardless of where they live—has the chance for healthy development in harmony with the world around them.
