Solution-focused schools
Certification program for schools

SKILLFUL SCHOOL PROGRAM CONCEPT
The inspiration for the Skillful Schools program, which focuses on solutions, is the vision of Finnish psychiatrist and child psychotherapist Dr. Ben Furman. Our initiative promotes viewing children and youth as active experts in shaping their own lives. We believe that every child possesses the resources needed to overcome challenges, and our goal is to support them on this journey.
PROGRAM FOUNDATION
Our program is based on two proven methods by Dr. Furman: Kids’ Skills, designed for individual work with a child and their parents, and Skillful Group, which focuses on group work. Both methods aim to help children and teenagers acquire the skills that enable them to overcome difficulties.
PROGRAM PILOT
In response to contemporary educational and upbringing challenges, the Dr. Ben Furman Motivational and Preventive Center invited 11 schools and 2 municipalities to collaborate on developing the Skillful Schools program. By leveraging the resources of teachers, educators, and psychologists, we support them in building mental resilience and provide the tools necessary for effective action in a modern educational environment.
THE ORIGINS OF THE PROGRAM
We launched the pilot program during a conference at the Senate of the Republic of Poland
How to restore joy in education.
