I'm Proud of You!

A unique training program for parents and caregivers who want to raise children in a spirit of respect, support, and genuine appreciation.

Training information

Training foundation

This training is based on the Solution-Focused Approach and Dr. Ben Furman’s proven Kids’ Skills method. It provides practical tools for building relationships with your child and navigating everyday parenting challenges, whether you are raising young children or teenagers.

Who is this training for?

  • For parents looking for an alternative to traditional parenting methods that rely on punishment, yelling, or emotional coldness.
  • For those who want to support a child through crises (divorce, death in the family, school problems).
  • For those who want to build a child's self-esteem and teach them communication based on respect and love.

What is the Kids’ Skills method and what makes it unique?

The training is based on Dr. Ben Furman's Kids' Skills method.

Kids’ Skills is an innovative method for supporting children's skill development, created by Finnish psychiatrist and psychotherapist Dr. Ben Furman.

Is based on the premise that every child possesses the resources necessary for change, and the role of adults is to help them discover and utilize those resources. Unlike traditional approaches, Kids’ Skills focuses not on problems, but on finding solutions and exceptions – even in difficult situations, there is always something that works well, and that is what should be reinforced.

This approach:

  • It encourages identifying a child's strengths and building upon them for further development.
  • It teaches how to support a child in learning new skills instead of focusing on eliminating "bad" behaviors.
  • It focuses on cooperation and positive communication, both with the child and with other adults involved in their upbringing.
  • It allows children to feel competent and capable, which strengthens their motivation and self-esteem.
