ULICA Foundation Volunteer Program

Think about what you are looking for in volunteer work.

In what area would you most like to develop

I prefer working individually

Guide

I prefer direct
work with people

The Guide works individually with children and youth, motivating their mentees to define and overcome their "impossibles."
They show children their potential, demonstrate belief in their abilities, provide support when failures occur, and help them cope with challenges.

Seeker

I prefer working
on a computer

The Seeker helps create and manage marketing and promotional campaigns on social media, can co-create our YouTube channel, helps develop business proposals, supports the foundation in actively seeking donors, and communicates with business partners.

I prefer working in a group

Activist

I prefer teamwork and working on collaborative projects

The Activist works as an assistant to trainers conducting workshops and classes for children and youth.
They support the group during project implementation and organize outdoor activities and social campaigns.

Organizer

I prefer a leadership role; I have ideas for independent projects

The Organizer, as an independent professional, implements the philosophy of the Ambassadors of the Impossible within their own educational or pedagogical activities by establishing an Embassy of the Impossible in their school, community center, foster family, or company.

Keep in mind that regardless of which development path feels right for you now, you can shift your focus in any other direction at any stage of our journey together.

Volunteer work model

Choosing a development
path

As part of your volunteering, you can choose one of 4 development paths: Guide, Seeker, Activist, or Organizer.

Individual meeting

After you choose your development path and submit your application, we will invite you to an individual meeting. During this meeting, we will get to know each other, answer all your questions, and assess your potential. We will also ask you to declare how much time you want to dedicate to volunteering and provide you with a volunteer agreement.

Volunteer Academy

Once you have chosen your development path and identified your potential, we will offer you free training to develop your skills and provide the knowledge necessary for volunteer work.

Competency
development

During your volunteer work as a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to regularly participate in training sessions and team-building outings, and you will be able to take part in group supervisions where we discuss the challenges that arise in volunteer work on an ongoing basis.

What do you gain as a volunteer?

By participating in various projects, you will meet new, amazing people. You will have the chance to build both professional and personal connections.

You will gain practical experience in what responsibility means, how to wisely support others in their growth, and how to dream and strive for the fulfillment of what matters to you.

You will develop skills such as:

  • teamwork,
  • communication,
  • project organization and management,
  • work planning and coordination of promotional activities.
  • training,
  • promotional,
  • team management,
  • project management,
  • working with businesses.

You will feel what it means to be incredibly important to someone. You will experience the joy that comes from supporting another person.

You will see that you have an impact and can truly change someone's life for the better.

The development of the Skillful Academy in Poland is supported by the Foundation's strategic partner,
Neo Energy Group.
More about NEG:

As a leading developer and operator of renewable energy sources (RES), Neo Energy Group is deeply committed to sustainable development. The company also engages in social initiatives that not only promote the well-being of children and youth but also build their mental resilience—a protective shield that is a key element of their health and success. By supporting the ULICA Foundation and its Center, NEG actively contributes to the development of ecopsychology and the ideas of Dr. Ben Furman. It also demonstrates that responsible business and sustainable development are not just about investing in technology, but also in people—especially the younger generation. The innovation embedded in Neo Energy Group's DNA is also evident in the Foundation's activities and the concept it promotes, which uses modern tools to rebuild and strengthen the mental resilience of children. As a result, children's problems are beginning to be viewed differently. They become processes of learning new skills that help overcome difficulties and initiate the process of desired change. The accessibility of these initiatives to local communities is further proof that Neo Energy Group understands and takes its social role very seriously, with the power to influence positive change. By supporting the ULICA Foundation, the company joins forces with those working for a better tomorrow, where every child—regardless of where they live—has the chance for healthy development in harmony with the world around them.
